History of the Beef CRC

The Cooperative Research Centre for Beef Genetic Technologies (Beef CRC 3) was established to identify the genetic and non-genetic factors affecting beef quality and other production traits of economic importance.  The focus on “genetic technologies” in Beef CRC 3 followed two previous successful research programs undertaken by the Beef CRC in CRC 1 and 2.
